This end-grain cutting board measures 12″ wide x 8.5″ deep x 1.25″ thick.  It is made from African Padauk, Genuine Mahogany, and Hard Maple in a striking 3D pattern (look at it the right way and it looks like the inside of a waffle iron, but it’s flat!).  It features rubber feet underneath and is finished with several coats of Mineral Oil and Howards Butcher Block Conditioner.

It is made in an end-grain fashion, which means the fibers of the wood are what make up the face of the board.  This enables it to self-heal from most knife marks.  It is recommended that you condition the board occasionally with your favorite food-grade oil to keep it soft and unblemished.

This is my first attempt at a cutting board!  It had nicks and blemishes (hence the price)!

Please just rinse and wipe off to clean, do not place in a dishwasher.
